This tool's purpose is simple: it searches Twitter continuously for the phrases you give it, and presents the discovered tweets, tagged by keyword, in a list.
Just enter the keywords you want to find tweets for in the 'Query' box and click the Add Query button.
For instance, to keep up with all tweets matching 'seo' just enter 'seo' (no quotes) and click Add Query.
Every few seconds CatchTweet will check to see if new tweets have been made matching your keywords, and if so, display them.
You can watch for multiple keywords at the same time. Just add the additional terms and click Add Query. You can add multiple keywords at once
by separating them with a bar (|). For instance, to watch for both 'seo' and 'search engine optimization' at once, enter 'seo|search engine optimization' (no quotes)
and click Add Query.
To create a hyperlink to a set of watch keywords, simply add ?[keywords] at the end of the link. Using our previous examples:
http://catchtweet.com/?seo|search engine optimization
You can remove queries from your watch list by clicking the
[x] next to the keywords in the query list.
You can also add keywords to your watch list by clicking the hyperlinked tags in the tweets (e.g. cliking the hyperlinked words starting with
# -- such as #SEO -- will automatically add the keyword 'SEO' to your watch list).
A maximum of 25 tweets will be displayed at a time. The oldest tweets will fall off the list as new ones come along.
